Allergies and Sinus Cones™  –  Extra Relief and Improved Airflow

How Do Allergies Differ from Sinus Disease?

Allergies are often confused with sinus problems, in part, because, like sinus disease they cause nasal blockage and congestion of the nasal passages due to the swelling of the nasal lining. They also often lead to sinus infections because the symptoms may obstruct the little sinus openings in the same manner as sinus disease. (see sinusitis)

Although the sensation of nasal stuffiness may be similar the primary symptoms and difference in allergic rhinitis, at least at the first stages of allergies, is the thin clear watery post nasal drip, sneezing, “allergic shiners” around the eyes, itching and congestion of the nasal membrane, versus facial pressure, low-grade fever, and thick colored nasal discharge and mucus that is present with sinus disease infection.

Sinus Cones™ Open Airflow – Seasonal and Year-Round Relief

When allergies occur with regularity each year due to seasonal allergies, Sinus Cones™ provide the extra boost to your medication needed for healthy, all-night breathing relief. Sinus Cones™ can help to insure that your sinuses are ventilated so that the little sinus openings are not blocked by allergy congestion and sinusitis is avoided.

For allergies that manifest throughout the year, and strike without regularity, Sinus Cones™ provide reliable on-demand (when kept bedside) immediate relief to reduce nasal stuffiness that accompanies the occasional flare up so that the need for medication is reduced.

Nasal allergies tend to run in families, so if one parent has allergies, the child has a 30% to 50% chance of having allergy problems. When both parents have allergies, the chance of heredity allergy problems is 70%. Sinus Cones™, available in small, medium and large, comfortably size all family member’s noses.
